The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine is committed to excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Our subspecialists have advanced expertise in the medical, surgical, obstetrical, fetal, and genetic complications of pregnancy, providing consultation, co-management, and specialized care before deciding to have a family, as well as for complicated pregnancies before, during, and after delivery. Advanced ultrasound imaging plays a key role in our diagnostic and treatment capabilities, allowing for early detection and management of fetal conditions.
Dedicated to improving maternal and fetal outcomes, we conduct nationally renowned research to address the most pressing obstetrical challenges, with a strong focus on birth equity and patient outcomes. Through translational science, evidence-based care, and community engagement, we strive to eliminate disparities and ensure all patients have access to high-quality, equitable prenatal care.
Collaboration is at the core of our mission. We work closely with ultrasonographers, genetic counselors, obstetricians, family physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and other medical and surgical specialists to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. By integrating clinical expertise, innovative research, and education, we are shaping the future of maternal-fetal medicine and improving outcomes for all birthing individuals and their babies.
