Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program

The overall goals of the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Fellowship program include training subspecialists in Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc) who are excellent clinicians capable of providing comprehensive care for women with uterine, ovarian and other gynecologic cancers. Our objective is to provide supervision and training for each fellow with progression of responsibilities from that of dependent trainee to an independent GynOnc specialist.

In addition, our goal is to train academicians and leaders who will have an impact in the field of Gynecologic Oncology by contributing to and advancing the subspecialty through efforts in research and teaching. Through research projects and didactics, fellows are taught to use the statistical, epidemiologic and laboratory techniques necessary to develop an independent research program with a specific focus.

The MCW three year GynOnc Fellowship Program has been structured to meet all educational goals described by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). Our program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
