Perinatal Mental Health Clinic

Pregnancy and postpartum is a time of significant change for women. These periods are met with changes in physical, social, and emotional health, which contribute to this being a time of new onset or recurrence of mood-related concerns. In fact, symptoms of depression and anxiety are one of the most common complications of childbirth with up to 20% of women experiencing symptoms. Untreated mental health conditions can negatively impact maternal, obstetric, and infant outcomes, in addition to affecting one’s quality of life and relationships.

Our team is here to provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of women’s mental health conditions. Services are available during infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Our perinatal psychologists and psychiatrists support women in response to high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy complications, and perinatal loss. Additionally, the team welcomes the opportunity to see women for a pre-conception evaluation to develop a treatment plan to optimize mental health prior to conceiving.
