Sandlow Mackman, Samantha, MS, CGC
Licensed, Certified Genetic Counselor
Samantha Sandlow Mackman, MS, Genetic Counselor, joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in August 2020. She grew up in Southeast Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish Linguistics at Indiana University and her Master degree in Genetic Counseling from Northwestern University.
Sam is passionate about giving the best care to women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. She strives to make patient’s feel comfortable by building a concrete patient-provider relationship with solid communication and listening skills. She believes the key aspects in establishing a strong relationship occurs by taking the time to evaluate each patient thoroughly, incorporating them in the appropriate treatment plans, and educating them. She enjoys working collaboratively with her colleagues to provide the best care for each individual patient.
Sam sees patients in the Neuroscience Center in the Specialty Clinics Building, and the Adult Genomic Medicine Clinic all on Froedtert Hospital Campus.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband Sean, family, and friends. She loves playing with her Bernedoodle Archie, traveling, and being outdoors.
