Nixon, Margaret, MD

Dr. Margaret Nixon joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in August 2026 as a Staff Physician in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her undergraduate education at the Catholic University of America in D.C. and then went on to obtain her medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Nixon completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals program in 2026.

Dr. Nixon provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients of all ages from adolescence to adulthood, including preventive care along with medical or surgical treatment. Dr. Nixon’s interests include prenatal care, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding and contraception management.

Dr. Nixon sees patient in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at the McKinley Health Center. She primarily performs deliveries at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital (FMLH) and surgeries at FMLH and Froedtert Menomonee Falls.

Outside of work, Dr. Nixon enjoys spending time cooking, traveling, reading and going to Wisconsin sporting events.
