Postdoctoral Researcher
I received my PhD in Biological Sciences from India, and my work was mainly focused on the role of oxidative stress, mitochondrial alterations and elucidation of the molecular mechanisms that led to diabetic cardiomyopathy. I joined Dr. Chaluvally Raghavan’s lab in November 2022 as a postdoctoral fellow where I am working on the mechanism by which certain environmental stressors lead to the formation of membraneless organelles and how they eventually impact cancer progression and lead to the development of chemoresistance. Through this we expect to gain insight into the oncogenic process in cancer patients and thus develop a strategy to mitigate the same.
