Jamie Harriman, MS, CGC joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in May 2019. She grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and her Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT.
She became Board Certified Genetic Counselor through the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2020.

Jamie is passionate about providing patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. She strives to collaborate with her patients and to help them understand complex genetic information and to use what they learn in their healthcare decisions in a way that aligns with their personal values and goals. Jamie believes that her role as a genetic counselor is to be a resource for the entire family and that the genetic information can be used to empower patients and their relatives to take steps toward cancer prevention and early detection.

Jamie sees patients in the Maternal Fetal Care Center in the Froedtert Specialty Clinics building.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband Jacob, family, friends, and dog. She enjoys running, biking, and any other activities that bring her outdoors. She loves traveling including exploring national parks.
