Allison Genchanok, MS joined the Medical College staff in June, 2017. Her Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling was obtained at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in May, 2017.

Allison sees patients in the prenatal setting for advanced maternal age, personal or family histories of genetic conditions, abnormal ultrasounds, recurrent pregnancy loss, and carrier screening or planning for a future pregnancy. There are several options for testing during pregnancy and Allison helps patients make informed decisions regarding genetic testing using the patients’ personal beliefs, values and goals. She reviews the family history and risk factors to educate patients about their options and works as a resource for patients and their families.

In her spare time, Allison enjoys exploring the Milwaukee area, as she is new to the city. She likes reading, going to movies and spending quality time outdoors.
