Abigail Draves joined the Medical College staff in June of 2022. She obtained her Master of Science degree in genetic counseling from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. During her graduate education, Abigail completed her clinical rotations in San Diego, California.
Abigail sees patients in the prenatal setting for advanced maternal age, personal or family histories of genetic conditions, abnormal ultrasound, recurrent pregnancy loss, and carrier screening or planning for a future pregnancy. She helps patients make informed decisions regarding genetic testing options using the patients’ personal beliefs, values, and goals. Abigail strives to be a resource for patients and their families while providing education and support.
Outside of work, Abigail enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat. She loves traveling and spending time outdoors.
