Dowe, Kristin, PhD

Dr. Kristin Dowe received her undergraduate and graduate degrees, including her Clinical Psychology Masters and Doctorate, from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She went on to complete her Clinical Health Psychology Internship/Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Dr. Dowe then completed her Clinical Health Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship with a specialization in Women’s Mental Health through the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at MCW. Following completion of her clinical training, she remained on faculty in the Department of OB/GYN at MCW as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Dowe provides psychological services including assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation. Her clinical interests focus on reproductive mental health, including perinatal mental health and adjustment to reproductive health concerns, including infertility. She utilizes a holistic approach to care that supports patient’s overall mental, physical, and social health and well-being.

Dr. Dowe considers herself a lifelong learner and is involved with the American Psychological Association, Wisconsin Psychological Association, Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care, and the Society for Behavioral Medicine. She sees patients in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic at Froedtert Hospital, located in the

Specialty Clinics Building, and at the Froedtert Reproductive Medicine Center, located in the North Hills clinic.
