Castillo, Alexia (Lexi)

Alexia (Lexi) Castillo is a Research Technologist I in the Liang lab. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a major in Cell and Molecular Biology. She has previously worked at the Medical College of Wisconsin both as an undergraduate and as a full-time research technician in a lab that studied small cell lung cancer utilizing mice models. She has also worked in a lab that studied melanoma and developmental disorders that are regulated by the MAPK pathway.

She is very excited to start in the Liang lab as the first recruit.

In her free time, she likes to watch movies, knit, read, and spend time with family and friends.
