Pollard, Rachel A., APNP
Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Empowering women with knowledge about their health is the first step towards a healthier, more informed society. When women are educated about their bodies and health choices, they can make decisions that lead to better outcomes for themselves and their families.
Rachel A. Pollard joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in November 2024. She received her master’s in nursing from Marquette University in 2021 and obtained a primary care nurse practitioner degree in May of 2024. She began her healthcare career in 1999 and has worked in various departments within the healthcare settings to gain a better perspective of the overall healthcare system. Rachel has worked for the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine since 2011 as a sonographer. In 2021, she helped establish the MFM department at Drexel Town Square Health Center as a nurse and sonographer.
Rachel’s current practice involves caring for women in general obstetrics and gynecology. She specializes in all areas of OB/GYN including, but not limited to, contraception options, prenatal care including multiple gestations and diabetes in pregnancy, postpartum care, STIs, preventative care, weight management, and education of women about their general overall health. She believes that by creating an open, unbiased setting for patients, the education she can provide will allow them to make more informed decisions about their health.
Rachel sees patients in the outpatient setting of the General Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at the Drexel Town Square Health Center in Oak Creek.
Outside of work, she enjoys going to sporting events, listening to live music, playing with her 2 Great Danes, traveling, and spending time with her spouse, family, and friends.
