Dr. Changliang Chen got his PhD in Pharmacology from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He joined Dr. Sunila Pradeep’s laboratory in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in February 2018.

His research interests are focused on elucidating molecular mechanisms associated with ovarian cancer metastasis. The current project is to investigate how Neurogenins regulate ovarian cancer metastasis with the focus on their role in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and epithelial-mesenchymal plasticity (EMP). We expect that our research will help us to develop strategies to delay the tumor progression in ovarian cancer patients.
