Faculty and Resident Presenting at MCW’s Research Day September 12

Drs. Anna Palatnik and Paige Persche will be presenting their research posters at this year’s Research Day on September 12.

Research Day is a celebration of the research accomplishments of our faculty, staff, and trainees. Discovery at MCW has been increasingly multidisciplinary, inter-institutional, and translational. This event highlights the diversity and depth of research being conducted by MCW faculty and staff, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, Zablocki VA, and the Blood Research Center of Wisconsin. Our faculty submitted 1297 grant applications last year and published 1448 peer-reviewed scientific papers, many in highly ranked journals. Our faculty received numerous awards, honors, and lectureships.

Anna Palatnik, MD is presenting with a medical student, Meinuo Chen on “The Utilization of Sequential Compression Devices Among Pregnant Women”


4th year resident, Paige Persche, MD, is presenting her research on “Establishing an Evidence Based Cutoff: Basal Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) Levels of 8 or Greater to Detect Diminished Ovarian Reserve in Young Women”
