Introduction

“My goal as a genetic counselor is to educate patients about basic genetic concepts and guide them through their genetic testing options. I aim to provide a supportive environment where patients can make informed decisions about health management. My focus is to be a resource for patients as they navigate this process.”

Samantha joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in June 2015. She received her Master of Science degree in Medical & Molecular Genetics from the University of Indiana School of Medicine in 2015. She is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2011 from the University of Iowa. She became a Board Certified Genetic Counselor through the American Board of Genetic Counseling in 2016.

Samantha’s focus as a genetic counselor is to educate patients about basic genetic concepts and guide them through their genetic testing options. She aims to provide a supportive environment where patients can make informed decisions about health management. Samantha’s focus is to be a resource for patients as they navigate this process.

Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She spends her free time being outdoors, reading, and traveling whenever possible.
