Dr. Julianne Newcomer joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor in July, 1991. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1987. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology also at The Medical College of Wisconsin from 1987 to 1991.Dr. Newcomer’s practice involves both obstetrics and gynecology with an emphasis on Advanced Pelvic Surgery including Robotic Surgery & Urogynecology.

Her areas of interest include, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fistula, general gynecologic surgery especially minimally invasive surgery and robotics. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Awards and honors: She has been named many times in “Top Doctors”, “Super Doctors” and “Best Doctors in America” from Milwaukee Magazine, Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel and the Business Journal.

She has traveled many times to Africa to correct vesicovaginal fistulas. In 2007, she received a humanitarian award from the Medical College of Wisconsin Alumni Association for her work in Africa.
