Dr. Lemen attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1997. He practiced in Michigan for several years before joining the MCW faculty in 2002. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
His interests include normal and complicated pregnancy care, benign gynecology and gynecologic surgery including laparoscopy, contraception, colposcopy, and preventive health care for women. He also has an extensive interest in student and resident education.
He believes strongly in patient education, so a woman can be a partner with him and actively participate in her own health care.
