Colvin, Zachary, DO

Dr. Zachary Colvin joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in August 2021 in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He attended medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL from 2010-2014. He completed residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL in 2018. He then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in our department’s fellowship program from 2019-2021.
Dr. Colvin specializes in all areas of high-risk obstetrics. He sees patients prior to pregnancy for preconception consultation, as well as during pregnancy for ultrasounds, consultation, procedures, and deliveries.
Dr. Colvin’s clinical and research interests include hematologic disorders of pregnancy, postpartum opioid use, and medical education. He has presented at multiple national meetings and has several peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Colvin is actively involved with medical education. He works with learners of all levels and serves as co-director for the 3rd year OB/GYN clerkship here at Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Colvin sees patients in the Maternal Fetal Care Center at Froedtert Hospital, the Fetal Concerns Clinic at Children’s Wisconsin, the Froedtert Townhall Health Center, Froedtert Pleasant Valley Health Center, and Froedtert Drexel Town Square Health Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Colvin enjoys spending time with his family, fly-fishing, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
