Assistant Professor
Dr. Salma Aljamal joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in September 2024 in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Aljamal received her medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, Michigan in 2020. Prior to that, she had attended Marquette University for her undergraduate degree. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Advocate Aurora Medical Center in Milwaukee in 2024.
Dr. Aljamal cares for women of all ages providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the full spectrum of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including medical and/or surgical treatment. Dr. Aljamal’s interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, normal and complicated pregnancy care.
Dr. Aljamal sees patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic at the Drexel Town Square Health Center and performs surgeries and deliveries at Froedtert Hospital.
Outside of work, Dr. Aljamal loves to run outdoors (occasionally trains for marathons), spends time with her nieces and nephews and enjoys exploring new coffee flavors.
