Anna McCormick, DO

Dr. Anna McCormick joined the department as a fellow in maternal fetal medicine in July 2015. She attended medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University from 2007-2011. She completed residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 2015.

Dr. McCormick’s interests include high risk obstetrics, obesity and hypertensive disorders. Her research interests include obesity and ultrasound. Her previous research investigated the effects of metformin on survival in ovarian cancer patients.

Dr. McCormick is an active member of American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and served as Junior Fellow Vice Chair and Chair in the Illinois Section. She received the resident research award for her work on obesity and transvaginal ultrasound.

Outside of work, Dr. McCormick enjoys spending time with her family, running and yoga.
