Women’s Mental Health Psychologist Abbey Kruper joins Medical College of Wisconsin faculty

Abbey R. Kruper, PsyD, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the divisions of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Kruper comes to us from the Transplant Center at Froedtert Hospital and started January 18, 2016. She earned her doctor of psychology degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2010 and completed a fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at Loyola University Medical Center in 2011. Dr. Kruper earned a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology degree from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marquette University in 2005.

She will be seeing patients in the OBGYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics at Froedtert Hospital and also in the Reproductive Medicine clinic at North Hills Health Center. Her focus will be in the treatment of women with mental health issues who are actively attempting conception, struggling with infertility, currently pregnant, or within six months post-delivery.
