19 Nov Welcome Professor and Vice Chair Judith Hibbard, MD to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine
We are very pleased to announce that Judith Hibbard, M.D., has been appointed to Professor and Vice Chair for Obstetrics in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Hibbard comes to us from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Hibbard trained at the University of Chicago in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine and has served as faculty there, and most recently at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She has functioned as Division Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and has been a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program Director since 2000. Dr. Hibbard has examined for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, reviews for a number of journals, and has served on national committees in her specialty.
Dr. Hibbard is an experienced clinical researcher and has participated in several multi-site trials; she has published in major peer reviewed journals. Her areas of clinical and research interests include hypertension and cardiovascular disease in pregnancy, and issues related to the labor and delivery process. She will focus her energies on developing a MFM Fellowship Program at MCW, fostering interdisciplinary research efforts and quality measures, as well as continuing her clinical practice of MFM at MCW/Froedtert and affiliated clinical sites.
