13 Mar Welcome Carol Eling, Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Carol Eling, WHNP-BC, has joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Reproductive Endorcrine & Infertility division.
She received RN licensure in 1981, Women’s Health NP certification in 1998, and her Masters Degree in Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2009. Her Nurse Practitioner (NP) experience includes nearly fifteen years in women’s health and infertility at Mayo Clinic-Eau Claire, WI, two years in Internal Medicine at Eau Claire Medical Clinic and at Essentia Health Clinic in Duluth, MN. She worked as a women’s health nurse practitioner at a non-profit health care clinic for women for over a year in Superior, Wisconsin. Prior to joining MCW, she was an Assistant Professor in Nursing at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.
Carol’s priority is to hear the patient’s story and to provide compassion, knowledge and competent skills, and up-to-date patient education to women and couples. She walks alongside patients and couples as they seek to fulfill their dream of having a family. She has a passion for encouraging people to find their strengths and to find hope.
Carol is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). She is a professional member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International.
Carol sees patients in the Reproductive Medicine Clinic at North Hills Health Center, located in Menomonee Falls.
Outside the workplace, Carol loves the outdoors and spending time with her family, friends, and her goldendoodle, Charlie. She looks forward to biking on the Milwaukee bike trail system with her husband and a women’s biking group. She enjoys quilting, trying new recipes, traveling, rock/agate hunting, hiking, kayaking, and all things summer.
