09 Oct Gynecologic Oncologist Erin Bishop joins Medical College of Wisconsin faculty
Erin A. Bishop, MD, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the division of Gynecologic Oncology, at the Medical College of Wisconsin and to the medical staff at Froedtert Hospital.
Dr. Bishop comes to us from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and has started October 1, 2013. Dr. Bishop’s clinical interests include the care of women with gynecologic malignancies including uterine, cervical, ovarian primary peritoneal, fallopian tube, vulvar and vaginal malignancies and gestational trophoblastic disease. Her academic interests include research in uterine malignancies and the treatment of elderly patients with gynecologic malignancies.
Dr. Bishop earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 2006, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She completed her fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
