We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Dielentheis, MD as the Director of OBGYN Faculty Development. Kate will provide leadership on learner education programs, assessments and coordination in addition to the faculty development series.
Kate joined the department in 2016 after completing a residency in OBGYN at Northwestern University. She is a passionate educator and tireless in her attempts to consistently improve the education we provide our resident and student learners. She also recognizes the importance of continued education and faculty development to encourage herself and her peers to remain life-long learners. In the 2018, Dr. Dielentheis spearheaded a committee of colleagues within the department to establish and execute an ongoing faculty development series focused on healthcare equity and racial disparity, physician resilience and wellness, scholarly writing, and clinical and research mentorship.
