14 Sep Dr. Denise Uyar Accepts Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology Position
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Denise Uyar has accepted the position as Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Denise Uyar, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of OB/GYN and has been at the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2004. She completed her medical school and residency training in OB/GYN in Burlington, Vermont. She then completed a 3 year fellowship in Gynecology Oncology at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Uyar has been the recipient of peer reviewed funding from The American Cancer Society, The Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program, Thomas and Loraine M. Rosenberg Award for Translational Cancer Research. She actively participates as Principle Investigator on numerous industry sponsored Clinical Trials in Gynecology Oncology. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. She currently serves as the Director of the M4 Acting Internship Rotation in Gynecology Oncology. She has served on several Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital committees such as Faculty Council, Compensation Committee, OB/GYN Resident Clinical Competency Committee, and OB/GYN Department Mentoring Committee.
