20 Nov Children’s Hospital Open State-of-the-Art NICU
Babies at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin took a trip and became residents of a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The hospital, already credited as a top NICU in the country, moved into a state-of-the-art facility Tuesday.
Six-week-old John Rayniak became the first resident of the unit. Dressed in a Superman onesie, nurses brought the 6-pound infant down the hall and into his new, private room — one of 26 private suites featured in the new unit.
“We have to option of these cool beds so I can stay overnight,” said mom Angie Rayniak. “Learning his night cares, stuff like that.”
