Resident Research and Alumni Day is an annual event in which housestaff present their research results within their residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A guest speaker for the Roland S. Cron Lectureship is invited to present each year. We invite our Obstetrics and Gynecology alumni to attend this significant day to support our current residents.

About Dr. DeCherney
He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania where he served on the Board of Trustees from 2006-2010. His Medical Degree is from Temple University School of Medicine where he was AOA and awarded the Henry Laughlin Alumnus of the Year Award in 2005.
He also holds an honorary Master of Arts Degree from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He did a research fellowship in Immunology at the Lister Institute in London, England; his internship in Medicine was at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania.
